SUPERNATURAL -TIES THAT BIND

I have always been an outgoing energetic and friendly person. In college I had tons of friends and lots of fun. Once you get out into the real world it is a whole new ball game! You have all the responsibility of a career and then a husband and a family and and bills and the whole nine yards!. It is hard to cultivate and keep friendships because let's face it friendships just like any relationship do not just happen. You have to have a common bond. Something that you both can relate to no matter what age difference there may be between the two of you.I have a great life and I have no complaints, but before Supernatural there was this part of me that longed for the friendships that I had long ago. All my college friends had moved on and we all sort of lost touch. I mean I had lived in 4 different states after graduating so it was pretty hard to keep friendships going, Then along came Supernatural. It was something that my teens and I both not just liked but loved. It was something that transcended the age barrier between us. We had a common bond. Then you throw in the wonderful world of the internet and poof like magic you find out that there are a whole lot of fans out there with that same common bond. Now I am not saying that we are all the same because we are not. Some of us are teens,some are in their 20's some in the 30's and some into the 40's and 50's. We all have different lives and different interests but the one thing that we all have in common is the enthusiasm and love for this show. That bond has created more friendships for me then I can say. It is so darn cool to be able to chat with all my friends about "our show". It doesn't matter if we are from the U.S. or Great Britain or Australia or anywhere else in the world. We all share that common interest. Now don't get me wrong here I am not saying that watching Supernatural is the key to world peace ! lol. What I am saying though is that it ties all of us together and makes us a cohesive group. We all care about each other. Heck what other show have you ever heard of that has its own fan organization not just to promote the show but to unite and raise money for wonderful and important charities like a Dog's Life Rescue! Yes that is a shameless plug for Support Supernatural because we have done so much to raise money for this really worthy cause and rightfully so should be proud of it!. We are like all connected. No matter what are age we all enjoy shooting the breeze about our favorite show. We love to chat about the characters and the story lines and the good guys and bad guys so to speak. We get totally caught up in the show in every way. Yes there are those that watch only because Jared and Jensen are too extremely attractive and talented actors but that is not the common tie for most of us. We all really get into the show. I have never been involved with a show or anything else for that matter where I can so easily chat with just about anyone about it and really enjoy the chat. I have so many wonderful friends on line because of this show. It may sound trite but I really mean it!. I look forward to chatting with them and discussing plots and everything else we fans love to talk about. I can honestly say that I feel closer to these people than I do to most of the real people in my life. Not including family these are now some of the best friends I have. Some are from England, some from OZ, some from South America, Africa and everywhere else. But wherever they are from we all really like each other and it shows. Sure we may have Sam fans versus Dean fans but that is all part of the wonder of the show. And contrary to what people may think Supernatural is not just a "chick show". I have plenty of friends that are guys that are every bit as passionate about the show as I am!! In this throw away all consuming world it is nice to know that there are still plenty of great people out there.!! Yes we all have our jobs and our families and relationships and worries and stress but when it comes to this show we are able to put all that aside and just enjoy the show and each other! However brief if may be we get to take a little breather from all that is going on in our lives and just enjoy each others company and the love of the show. Now you can take this all for what it is worth to you. I am sure there are going to be those that read this and are like yeah right she is not rowing with both oars in the water! That is certainly your choice! But as sure as I am sitting here typing this I think that the great majority of you that read this are going to agree that we all share a special and wonderful bond and it is one that we all cherish for we all have found new and wonderful friends because of this very special show!

SUPERNATURAL IS THE DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH OF THE CW AND WHEN IS THAT NETWORK GOING TO REALIZE THAT!!

There are many things in life that amaze me but one of the big ones these days is why doesn't the CW show Supernatural get more promotion and a lot more respect. I mean seriously not since Redford and Newman from their Butch and Sundance days have I seen 2 more charismatic and talented actors than Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. These guys have the whole enchilada my friends. They are extremely talented, extremely handsome, and just have these magnetic personalities that seem to jump off the screen. Then you have Misha Collins who plays Castiel the angel of the Lord and Dean Winchester's right hand man! Misha Collins and has proved himself to be a totally awesome and welcome addition to the show. The interaction between the Winchesters and Cas is always an entertaining exchange Then you have the totally talented and also quite charismatic Jim Beaver who guests quite often as the Winchesters level headed and crafty sidekick/mentor Bobby Singer. Jim Beaver is just perfect for the part complete with ball cap and smart alec comments on the Winchester's antics. One of my favorite Bobbyism as I have called them is that he sometimes refers to the boys as idjits. Ask any Supernatural fan about that and you will immediately see a huge smile on their face! :) The writing for the show is outstanding. The show can bring you to tears with scenes so full of angst you need a whole box of kleenex to watch them to tears of laughter from scenes so funny that they knock you off your chair. I mean ask any fan about the episode Yellow Fever and fans will immediately break out in a huge smile as they recount the Winchesters adventures in that episode. Scenes do not come any funnier than Dean screaming in terrror when the cat jumps out of the locker. I am laughing to myself just thinking about it! Supernatural is the perfect blend of action,horror drama and yes comedy.The fx are really something to behold thanks to the totally creative and talented team that the show has behind it.

So with all this in mind I have to ask myself again why doesn't this totally awesome show get the respect that it so rightfully deserves from its own network. It seems like the CW values all of its t and a shows way more than they do this honest to goodness totally awesome dramatic series!! Now to add insult to injury the CW wants to mess with Supernatural's time slot and change the show to Friday nights.
Supernatural fought long and hard to finally achieve decent ratings despite the CW putting it in the suicide spot against the long running hit CSI. Now that the show is finally getting recognition the CW is switching the show to a different night. Now they say this move is only for the Summer rerun season but knowing the CW they are apt to make this a permanent move for Supernatural. That is the thanks Supernatural gets huh?? It gets shit canned to Friday nights! What is wrong with this picture!!

I have no idea why the network does not recognize a great thing when it sees it !! I certainly do and I am not alone there either!!!
CW wake up and smell the coffee and realize what a gem you have and START GIVING SUPERNATURAL THE RESPECT AND APPRECIATION IT SO RIGHTFULLY DESERVES!!!!

FRIDAYS ARE SUPERNATURAL SO PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!!

Hello to all you awesome fans of Supernatural!! As you well know Friday September 24th. at 9/8C is the season 6 season premiere!! Now this will be the first new season where Supernatural is occupying the Friday time slot!! As you all know Thursdays used to be Supernatural!! Sadly that is no longer the case!! So we have mounted an effort this week before the premiere to spread the word that Supernatural is now on Fridays!!

Tell your friends in the fandom if ...they want to participate to change their profile pic as well. Please feel free to use the pic to spam the hell out of every social networking site on the web. let's make sure that everyone is aware of the premiere and the date change.By the way all I did is add the date of the premiere to Amie's pic!! This is still 100 percent her pic!!:)

TGIF!!FRIDAYS ARE SUPERNATURAL!!

OK Gang I am the first to admit that I was and still am so against the CW's move of our beloved show to the Friday night 9pm EST slot. I along with a lot of you loyal fans fought the move as best we could!! We blogged and we protested the CW's boards and of course the CW did absolutely nothing but turn a tin ear to our pleas. Well enough is enough and as much as I am against the move if we the fans don't promote it then who will?! No one promotes Supernatural like the fans who love it so much!! So I reluctantly changed the name of the group that we started on facebook from Thursdays are Supernatural-Let's Keep It That Way to TGIF!!FRIDAYS ARE SUPERNATURAL!

So please check it out and above all do all you can to spread the word that Fridays are the new fright night! lol That's right this is operation Fridays are Supernatural and this is your mission if you decide to accept it!! lol

Former EastEnders actor Adam Croasdell has brandedSupernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles "the perfect pairing".

Croasdell, who played Dr Al on the BBC soap, will appear as the Norse god of light Baldur in an upcoming episode of the CW drama.

Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: "They are really great guys, a lot of fun and very professional.

"They are both very funny in real life... they did have us in stitches on more than one occasion! They sort of riff off each other, it's quite interesting."

He added: "They seem to be a perfect pairing in terms of casting, and seem to do a lot together, even getting married at around the same time! It's an interesting scenario, but I guess that tends to happen if you like the person you're working with and you've been working with them for about five years basically daily and for long hours."

Croasdell will make his debut in the 19th episode of the current fifth season, which airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW and Wednesdays at 9pm on Living in the UK.

Well all I can say it that the day that Living TV acquired the rights to Supernatural in the UK was a day that was not only great for Living TV it was a day that was full on awesome for Supernatural's future in the UK. Never before have I seen such awesome promotion as the promotions that have come from the innovators at Living TV! I only wish the CW would take note and realize that when you have a gold mine of a show like Supernatural then you promote it and you promote it in totally awesome and creative ways!!

Happy Supernatural Thursday 411. Today on TNT is one of my personal favorites Usual Suspects which was written by one of my favorite Supernatural writers Cathryn Humphris and directed by one of my favorite directors Mike Rohl.
